Testimonials
The Great Brian Robinson Cyclist is a patron of Streetbikes and has supported Streetbikes for many years. He has helped to raise significant funds for Streetbikes to enable the charity to continue with its work, Brian was the first Briton to finish the Tour De France and the first to win a Tour Stage. Brian says "I cant remember the day without riding a bike, I have been fortunate to be able to represent my country and to meet so many like minded cycling enthusiasts on the way. Streetbikes enables people of all abilities to get on a bike and get riding, what can be better! Keep up the great work you do Streetbikes, all the best Brian.

Tmara and her husband are both registered blind and have attended Streetbikes cycling sessions for many years, Tmara says "my husband started attending the cycling sessions first and then suggested I should attend, as they had adapted bikes available for people of all disabilities including blind people! So off I went to the Spenborough track" Attending these sessions has made me feel physically stronger and has also given me more confidence in myself and made me feel less anxious because I tended to worry a lot, but you cant worry when your on a tandem, because you have to trust of the person who is piloting you at the front. Carry on with the great work Streetbikes!

Michael is an academic who sustained a serious head injury whilst playing football. He began cycling sessions at Streetbikes on a tricycle with a member of Streetbikes staff accompanying him around the track, he very soon became confident enough to cycle on his own. Michael says "I progressed from a trike to a tandem and from the track to the Calder Valley Greenway. Learning or should I say relearning how to ride a bike again and gaining my self esteem back. They tell us that exercising is good for us and By Crickey its made a big difference to me!" Thanks to Streetbikes.

Darren attended Streetbikes many years ago to help with his health and wellbeing, very slowly he got much fitter and healthier and has continued with his cycling to this day. Darren came to Streetbikes as a user and then became a volunteer and is now a valued Streetbikes staff member, helping people that come to Streetbikes to get fit and healthy through cycling. Darren says "After initially attending cycling sessions at the Spen track I progressed to cycling on the Calder Valley Greenway, Streetbikes has helped me not only to get fit and healthy but has supported me back into work" Thanks Streetbikes.
