Mixed Ability Cycling
Make Friends… Improve Health… Have Fun.
Streetbikes Puts
Smiles On Faces
We know how cycling can transform people’s lives, you don’t even have to know how to ride a bike. Come along to one of our sessions – make friends, improve your health and have fun.
Streetbikes provides safe spaces, in traffic free environments. We have a wide range of adapted bikes suitable for many needs. We understand the challenges faced by families and individuals locally who may be affected by difficult health issues, disability, or other challenges that might be a barrier to cycling.
We run twice weekly cycling sessions at the Spen Valley Athletics Track on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Come and ride around the track at one of our Mixed Ability sessions or attend a leisurely ride along the Spen Valley Greenway on one of our Community Rides.
Our mixed ability cycle session take place on a Tuesday from 10.30 – 2.30pm and on a Saturday we’re open 12.30- 3pm.
Offer a Helping Hand
and Support
Our supportive and trained volunteer are always on hand to ensure the cycling sessions are safe and fun. Regardless of whether it’s your first time cycling or you have been doing it for years we just love being able to provide an inclusive session for everybody who attends.
Promoting Good Health, Well-Being
& Friendship
Streetbikes also works closely with a wide range of local agencies and provides services to schools, care providers, other charities and community organisations in order to promote cycling, good physical and mental health, well-being, friendship, and fun.

Recycling
Bicycles
We can take deliveries of bike(s) from you, or we can arrange to collect bikes from you. We can then work on them to bring them back to life and make them available for sale or donation to those ready to ride.
